The carnivore section of Suzhou Zoo that includes two panthers, three leopards, three African lions, one wolf, one Siberian tiger and two lynxes were removed to the bigger and air-conditioned new habitation on the morning of 21 July. The new cages are framed with tempered glass, hence visitors could have a close-up contact with the animals.
